Head Drawing Process

January 26th, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

Here’s a brief demonstration of the head drawing process. This was drawn from a live model. The pose was only 20 minutes. With more time, you would continue the rendering process ( step 8 ) and continue to refine the edges and values.

For those of you interested in learning this process, there will be a Head and Portrait Drawing class next month (February 2011) in our Silicon Valley studio.  This will be a 10 week course that will take the students through the step by step process and more. Please contact me at chris [at] figurequicksketch [dot] com for more info and sign up for the mailing list to get the latest updates and details as they come.
